Its a sad day in America
PHILADELPHIA/NEW YORK (Reuters) - U.S. brewer Anheuser-Busch Cos Inc (BUD.N) agreed to a $50 billion takeover by Belgium-based InBev NV, a source familiar with the situation said on Sunday, creating the world's largest beer maker.
Another American company bought out by an overseas company. This country is going down the drain. I hope the management of Busch Entertainment can make an agreement to spin off the parks.

Pleasure Island
Yesterday I learned that one of my favorite places at the Walt Disney World Resort would be closing. Pleasure Island a group of nightclubs in the middle of the oasis of Disney. I have been going to in paticular Mannequins since I turned 21 almost 6 years ago. It was/is a place that I could have fun, feel safe, relax,have a smoke free enviroment, and see friends. Now this safe drinkin/meeting place will close on September 27th. There are many of us that had one regular bartender that we all consider a friend. We always got her birthday gifts and she would bake us cakes from scratch. I have no clue where they will shop her off too, probably a resort bar where her tips will dramatically increase with the different clientel. One good thing about us fags is that we know how to tip well. I am not sure where we will go out now, but a part of my weekly routine will now be missing :( My banner page is actually a picture of Mannequins Dance Palace.

Prejudiced in Ohio- Surprise
I grew up 45 minutes away from Ohio University and it for the most part a very liberal school. I would hope young minds would be more open these days but I see that is not true. I guess these hicks do not go up to Columbus which is an hour way. Columbus has the largest gay population in the midwest. Here is a snipet of an article written by a gay student going to Ohio U who was rejected by his future roommate once they found out he was gay via facebook.
"That was when I found out their real motivation. 'Listen, we do not have a friend moving in. We were just trying to be nice; we both just feel really uncomfortable living with a homosexual.' Now what am I to do? I can’t leave because I’m not allowed, and I can’t stay because I fear for my own safety. I’ve been talking back and forth with them and they feel that I am obligated to leave because of their discomfort. I wonder if they realize mine — especially when I read their statuses on Facebook declaring X is a homophobe at 8:58 p.m., and X hates faggots at 9:21 p.m."
